GF wants to do a 60 mile sportive on her MTB, furthest she's gone before is about 40 miles but that's on knobblies. What tyres to roll a bit faster? Good puncture resistance is preferable, tubeless not a priority but might be nice. Gravelkings (regular) 1.75"? I have Gravelking SK on my gravel bike & they roll great, she's not doing a lot of off-road at the moment though so it just needs to be able to cope with a bit of gravel/bridleway really.
Gravelking in SK or non SK flavours (basically a 2"ish slick) or WTB Byways or Horizons are the usual 650b choice. I think there's a Schwalbe thing as well.
Have been pretty happy with my 650B SKs, bar getting them set up tubeless, which is an utter **** due to them being such a baggy fit.

I love my byways: roll really well, cope surprisingly well off tarmac with the side knobs & central section working well together.
Not all that much puncture protection but I ce ridden them hard and have had no issues

I've been happy with my WTB Resolute (in 700x42). They do a 650 version, same width.
This is exactly what I've just been looking into.
The Gravelking slicks are very light and fast for their size. They all have a puncture protection belt, apparently the same casing as the SK versions, so puncture resistance should be decent. The tread is very thin though, which must be how the get the weight down. The only size that don't seem absurdly light are the 1.9" (48mm) version. Quoted weight jumps up to 520g for the 1.9" version from 360g for the 1.75".
WTB Horizon are also very good, and for primarily road riding they're probably as good a 650b slick as you'll get. I'll have some for sale next week as I'm replacing them with bigger heavier things.
