[Closed] Werewolf ate my tyre

After a giant werewolf came up and bit my tyre whilst out on a leisurely ride I find myself going through the usual 3 month search for the perfect replacement. Any suggestions please? I have maxxis ikon ATM and would like something much the same speed wise but with just a shade more grip as I feel it doesn't have enough traction uphill if there is any moisture. I need to replace the front so not so important for uphill grip but will probably replace both and keep the good ikon rear as a spare.

One or more of slaughter/butcher/purgatory might be appropriate?

Slaughter rolls well but is dodgy for traction unless cranked. Love mine but I don't ride anything too technical, and I can still spin it out on loose stuff.

I'm up and down steep unpaved roads with flint or chalk, roots, etc. No problem when dry but slippery in the wet. I know all is but I think a little more grip on the loose stuff will at least help. I'll look at slaughter.

Are you sure it was a werewolf, the moon is waning gibbous at the moment and we have very strict rules on this sort of thing.

At least an alien didn't eat your Buick. That really would be quite costly.
