Update. The bikes have arrived after BA managed to displace them somewhere on route.

The race starts around midnight UK time.

Best of luck!

My mate (Matt Jones) is racing too, did well at Fort William last year and should do even better this year. Gutted I can't put support this year after suffering through the freezing night last time.

Yeah best of luck all. Wish I was riding again this year. Magical course last year in Fort Bill.

Twitter updates from @Team_Jmc

Jason had a bad mechanical on lap 1 and dropped 20 minutes. Going for it now.

I saw that in the results. At least 18 mins down on lap 1 anyway.

It's 23:25 in CA now, guessing that means they're nearly at the half-way point?

Midday to midday?

On that note: Go Dorris!!

Durrr. Just realised that the results say how long they've been racing for.

Go go go steve "dorris" day. Killing the singlespeed category so far, the little wolverine lookylikey is bloody quick on a rigid bike with one gear!

Any up to date live links? All the one's I've seen are stuck on 9/10 laps - been the same for a couple of hours.

Steve Day DNF?

I'm puzzled too. Shouldn't it be finished rather than DNF? He's done more laps that many are going to do.

And wish I was there. Damn DVTs!

I'm watching both Jasons. Bit conflicted there Oz v GBR. ๐Ÿ™‚

Tinker retired after 6 laps with vision problems apparently.
