Pot holes this week.
Any sort of damaged road surface or roadworks will do.

The rules;
1. Take a photo of your bike with something that matches the theme in the picture.
2. Interpret the theme any way you like.
3. Pictures should be taken between the dates in the topic title.
4. If you post a picture you can either suggest a theme for next weeks challenge or vote for someone else's suggestion. First suggestion to get two supporting votes becomes next weeks theme, probably.

The Staffordshire and Worcestershire canal, just South of Kidderminster town centre, between the Stourport Road and the railway bridge.
The paving slabs are actually the lids of a large concrete conduit. When it's dry, the all clatter as you ride over them. Like the clickety clack, of a train on a track, they've got rhythm to spare.
The bank's gradually been slipping away, so they've been driving steel piles in and backfilling the gap.

Slightly at an angle to the title,but if you scroll down this thread http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=150891 you'll see the hole, obscured by 6 foot high nettles, that I put my foot in on Sunday.

Fortunately the tingling sensation from the nettle stings was superceded five minutes later when I chargrilled my cock on an electric fence.

Avoiding this on commute for over a month. Nice of 'them' to cover the hole with a sheet of steel. Not sure why it's there.

Next week- view framed by a wheel rim or bike frame. Cheers

Culprit found! Nearby this beast was hiding, no other potholes about. It's living in the lap of luxury, ready to come out at night and create cyclist havoc!

Next week:- view framed by wheel rim or bike frame. Cheers.

How about a nod of deference to the Pioneers of our Bridleway network, and have a Equine theme for next week?
