Last day in the borders today, did a lap of mabie this morning and that's me done for the week I reckon. Back in training for the Birmingham half marathon on Sunday mornin 😐
LVRC RR near Towcezter Sunday
None, because I crashed last weekend and ripped my elbow open. Current waiting on it healing up and getting the stitches out 🙁
The only thing that makes this slightly bearable is that it's due to pish it down all week.
Gondola day at Nevis Range tomorrow :D.
Aiming to get a little local loop in round the woods tomorrow afternoon. 30km or so taking in a couple of segments I've got personal Strava targets set on.
Possibly a quick hour out Sunday too to keep the legs ticking over.
Will be first time on a bike for over a month, so a bimble on the gmarmac down the Thames tow path with the Mrs. If that goes well and my calf isn't foobared again, maybe a pootle round Swinley on Monday.
I headed over to the West Coast as a last minute decision, stopped off at Balblair on the way, camped at Achmelvich and then did an epic on Saturday.

Heading for the velodrome tomorrow morning. Was out on the South Downs on Friday. Was supposed to be out on a road ride with a local club this morning but...er...slept in 😳

Well Fort Bill was a bust, it was to windy for bikes on the gondola so we headed back along the road to Laggan.
Had a great ride with just a little OTB into a puddle, which was better than last weeks fall into a burn
We went to macc forest instead of the rural road and bridleway ride we had planned. We had a fantastic day, wish I had some photos to share but we didn't stop and take any.
Enjoyed an hour and half of single speed mtb fun on Saturday and a 100 miles on the road bike today. Feeling good. Riding however is not just for weekend.
Scuppered by crashing hard on Saturday morning.
Fell off 24/05/15 expected return to 2 wheels October at best 2016 at worst.

stripped all the good stuff off my old Merida race MTB
Rebuilt my old faithful rig with the SS wheels and mono mini races off my TD-1
Rebuilt my TD-1 with all the XTR and hope race x2s off my merida.
A nice days hike a bike on Ben Macdui with Captain Mainwaring on saturday, was ace.
Bugger of a drive home to Prestwick afterward though....
Did a 60mile road ride early doors yesterday round the Peak District. Weather was glorious, very enjoyable. Too hungover to head out again today though!
Saturday: 54 miles up the coast from Woodbridge to Lowestoft. Last couple of miles on the beach.
