Could decide which bike to take on the family holiday so ended up putting some Big Apples on the Rumble. So wrong but it rolls really easily.

Yesterday saw an flyer for the Rando de Huitres (The Oster Rally) - 6€ entry including refreshment before and after and as many oysters as you can eat!

25km of flowing singletracjk through the woods and then a bimble around the oyster beds over near Royan in Western France. A proper French family day out.!

Oh and (epic)steve - can't see from the photo but I think my mate sold you a brown Santa Cruz many, many years ago. Is that it? !

I think one of the guys I used to ride with, John, who also had an Epic, mmoved to a Santa Cruz so might have been him.

Took my Singular Osprey road bike out Saturday evening when it cooled down, and stretched the definition of 'road' a bit.

Had a cracking day at FOD on Saturday.

Ride to red and blue trails in the morning and spent the afternoon mucking about on the DH trials which were quite different on the hardtail! Managed six and a half DH runs which was ace.

First photo from the other week but matching sunflower photo! Had an epic weekend with Drumlanrig Thursday, Fri morning Gypsy Glen (happy with only two dabs considering the bog and the wind) from GT parking, then the red route at GT in the soaking rain, Yair forest saturday and GT with some off piste including Broon Troot on the sunday!

Rather than the usual 1.5-2hr blast, had a ride to Bakewell over Chatsworth and Edensor one day last week. Stopped for a pint, a mate saw me on Facebook and came down on his Harley, so had another pint. Rode back to Rowsley up a farm track. Had another pint and some snap, then rode along the old railway to my local and had more pints. Set off a 1.30, got home at 10.30 😀
