My son and I explored a bit further today, heading up Glen Finglass, then 'Round the Hill' (Meall Cala) and back.
Not at all techy, all double track, was more than a little over-biked on the Pole, however an enjoyable morning. Some fairly bastardly climbs, and quite a few breathtaking views. Nae bad.
MTB up Rivvy on Friday PM with a Chubby Solaris try out and a road ride to Southport and back this morning

Starting to get a bit of strength back following my crash last month. Felt good to get a longer ride and some decent singletrack done.

Met family at Comrie after descending off the hills behind, wife video-d the wee man chasing me round the pump track, suffice to say after 60km of tough gravel and a few weeks of back pain I wasn't exactly flowing, will spare the internet that one...
No riding for me but did some trail work volunteering in the Forest of Dean, working on a brand new red descent. Should be super fun when it's done!

Stretched our local East Ayrshire hilltop loop a bit further over toward Moniave and the Striding Arches. Hopefully just a couple more weeks and we can travel further within Scotland.
Got out in the woods again little bit of snow on the ground but running nicely.

Looks great, even if it's cold 👍. We are off in the camper for a few days tomorrow. Forecast is good so should get in some walks and rides.
Got out for the first time in a fair while, dodging the snow and sleet showers yesterday at Woburn.

The loggers have been busy since my last visit as well, with a fair amount of the old trails now treeless for a bit!
Still the weekend here.
Today: castles, beaver dams and spring.
Same for us, weather is good, trails are dry and nobody on them.

It's eerily quiet here too - it's still school holiday for most as well. A85 I would normally avoid, but today we had about 6 cars, two cyclists and 3 motor bikes pass us by in 7 miles. The south loch road was one car (police) and one other cyclist....
We didn't see anyone on the trails yesterday and today saw a farmer rounding sheep with his dog and a jogger. Come the weekend it will be heaving but we will have left by then 😎
⬆️The beast without a stream running down it! I need to go ride it before it's soaking again.
