After killing my old frame recently I've picked up a new frame from here.
After transfering the bits over I've been noticing other parts that are dead/dining or just old.
Where does it stop or do I keep upgrading until it's some sort of mega uber bike that will make me a riding superstar ๐
You keep going and then one day your bike is so good you don't want to get it dirty, so you take the bits you have discarded and build up another bike, then you start improving that too, then one day...
This is inevitable, don't fight it.
But in my experience the true weakest link is my riding ability not matching up to the bikes bikability.

You take everything off, stick it in an ultrasonic cleaner / load of degreaser, clean it, oil it, and find out it's nowhere near as bad as it seemed.
first line I read as "after killing my old flame" which had me a bit worried.
Now you need to buy a complete bike for the parts. I tend to build a bike up by parts to a certain level, then realise I'm held back by components, buy a complete bike, start again. Just about to buy another complete...
