Essex Police said the Hadleigh Farm track could be dangerous to members of the public as it has been designed to international competition standards and as such the XC racers will be shown up as the wusses they really are when 8 year olds on Tesco specials "own them " on the trails

So, you can legally ride a bicycle on a public road where you are far more likely to be killed, but you can't ride on a track specifically designed for mountain biking?
They just don't want it get mash up an ting before the event, is all. Fair enough, but ittud be better if they said that rather than make up something stupid...
