2 weeks ago we had 2 new sofas delivered. Yesterday we had the first opportunity to sit on them for any length of time.
By the end of the evening the seat pads had compressed and we could feel the wood frame on the back of our legs.
Before I go complaining and receiving the inevitable fob off what can we legally ask for?

What can you ask for - sofas that are fit for purpose. The contract is - you pay, they provide sofas of satisfactory quality. the sofas are substandard its their problem to sort out
Repair / replace / refund - your choice
They're going to send someone round who calls himself an 'upholsterer' and he's going to tell you that you need to vigorously plump up the cushions/squabs each day and demonstrate it for you
ime the ones in the shop are definantly firmer and more stuffed than the ones you get delivered.

Years subscription to the iDave diet?
