I tend to find a long fast descent with a lot of braking will soon clean them of GT85 so should be the same for WD40. Other options are brake cleaner or you could bake them in the oven.

Soapy water on discs, and take pads out and cook them on a hotplate of the cooker for a few minutes, remeber they will be very hot, lift them off with a pliers or tongs, they also produce a lot of smoke.

What Project said ^

Take discs and pads off.Wash with soapy liquid and rinse, dry them and bang them in the oven at 200 for 20mins.

Worked a treat for me when I sprayed chain lube all over my rear disc.

After my very first ride on my very first mountain bike I cleaned everything thoroughly with WD40, including the brakes. They squealed like hell at the start of the next ride, but sorted themselves out before too long... ๐Ÿ™‚
