[Closed] Wavering Down (Somerset knowledge?)

It struck me the other day that I've never ridden over the bridleway crossing Wavering Down. It may be nice, it may be awful, but it's a hill with a bridleway on it, so I'd best ride it sometime this summer.

Is it best to go East-West or West-East along the main ridge though?

west side is a push if coming from that direction but i dont think it'd be a particularly good DH.

Each end of that ridge has a good descent IMO but the West end (nearest M5) is more likely to be a push-up than the Kingswood end (Nearest A38).

There's more up there than just the ridge top bridleway you know ๐Ÿ˜‰

I can see that, its partly a recce jaunt I'm looking at.

As I'm a fat knacker and will be doing it on either a one gear clown bike or a tiny choppered out hardtail, pushing at some point is a given, so may as well go W-E.
