I'm looking for a waterproof jacket of some description for the warmer weather, something that won't cause me to feel like a boil in the bag meal after wearing it for about 5 minutes.
Preferably something that'll pack down small enough to fit in a jersey pocket.

Any suggestions?

Short sleeve gabba. Warm weather - not hot weather.

Just go for a really light wind proof instead, you will dry out fast enough!

Montane Featherlite is good but being a waterproof it's never going to be that breathable.

I use montane velo lite wind proofs, wouldn't use it in winter rain but honestly it's fine for summer, if you do get wet it dries out really fast as does my top.

Any OMM stuff. Light and some of the jackets are quite resilient to water. Though they don't bs about breathe-ability and being waterproof. British company too..
