We did a loop out from Dunkeld, up Birnam Hill and the Hermitage. I've never seen so much rain. Slipslidingtastic down Birnam Hill. Rear wheel overtaking the front most the way down. Slippy roots, slippier rocks, slippiest grass. Brilliant fun, but three hours was plenty. The guys I was with went on to do another 3 hour loop.
Pitlochry was flooded, the Tay looks as if it's about to burst its banks.
Was anyone else out in the rain today?
Wasn't Perthshire, but close. Like you say, very wet.
Was also very wet here in the Pentlands. Some puddles were axle deep in places.
I know it's been a properly wet ride when SWMBO makes me take my wet gear off in the garage before I'm allowed back in the house!
We went up Ben Vrackie this morning, very wet and windy! Rivers were in full spate though, impressive!
