I’m in warrington visiting the in-laws for the day and brought my bike. Anyone got any fun routes they can point me to on Strava leaving direct from Warrington for an afternoon ride. Don’t know the area well hence looking for Routes to download...

From Appleton but don’t mind cycling a little if it’s worth it!

I'd suggest going East on the Bridgewater canal towpath to Lymm or Dunham Massey (cafes are available), then back on the Trans-Pennine Trail, or the other way round. Flat, but that's what it's like round there.

Starting at Morrisons Stockton Heath, this is our local loop. When you reach Daresbury firs you can have a bit of fun around there.

Sorry - had set out just before your post @mkidley. Saved your route for future though. I ended up in the Daresbury Firs after some suggestions from the in-laws which was a great little find!
