off to place called penperlleni with work 200 mile from home, may sneak i ride in which is the nearest trail centre ?
Nearest trail centre is Cwmcarn.
But in honesty you're spitting distance to the Black Mountains for some great natural trails. (Black Mountain Killer loop is highly recommended).
Only a little further and you're in the Beacons.

Best have some local knowledge for a Black Mountains ride. It will be easy to get lost or simply miss the best bits up around there.
Cwmcarn will be clearly sign posted and with the xc and DH track so easy to join up together ,it will make a good 2hr ride.
Cwmcarn is your best bet only 20 mins away or 45 mins away is Afan as well so depends how far you want to travel??
Or you could join up with the Cardiff lads who ride on Wednesdays out of Caerphilly about 35 mins from penperlleni tarffic dependant.

Cwmcarn is great. Really nice trail all the way round. If you've not done it before then I'd do that.
