Planning a long weekend start of Nov.....

Fri pm ride and then all day Sat. Half day on Sun.

Thinking Dalbeattie area....

Advice thoughts on 'best' riding with drops and fast-ish stuff??

Dalbeattie in the PM, Kirroughtree in the Full day, then pop to Mabie on the way down to the M6 for the morning ride.

(I'm assuming you're coming from the M6 up)

Kirroughtree is ace. Dalbeattie in good. Innerleithen is fab. Are there any bad trails in Scotland?

Ah - top tips thanks....yep coming up from Matlock..... (or across depending on thoughts vs a welsh trip)

Without me having to google scottish geography.....could you do all 4 of those??

Inners is quite far north, it'll be best to do that with Glentress at the same time at another time.

For now the Southern trails would be a better bet, and introduction into Scottish trails 🙂

Okidoki.

So Scotland is the venue then.....I wanted to go there anyway so thats a winner.

Thoughts on accommodation??

Cheap shell of wigwammy type thing at £10 each per night OR a bit plusher jobby at £20 per night??

Anyone got any recommendations / good experiences / places to avoid type advice?
