My latest Wahoo Tickr has died - this one did last a couple of years... but it won't wake up and needs replacing.

Does anyone have a recommendation  for a better model which works with my zwift etc? Or shall i just get another tickr?

Nay nay and thrice nay!

My old Tickr died after probably 5 years reliable service.

The next two both died within about 3 hours of flakey service each, odd readings and drop outs, then the plastic tabs that hold the battery in would break off and the battery would just pop out. No replacement cap available 🙄

Wahoo customer service was great but ultimately it just seemed wasteful so I got a refund and will put it towards a Polar.

I’ve got a polar verity sense which is much less hassle than my ticker chest strap. I use it on my left bicep, I had it on my forearm but it actually caused some tennis elbow like issues!

Generic one off amazon I think, works just as well as the branded ones.
