Cracking bike, good build by Halfords but slightly on the heavy side imo

I bought a frame from Sideways Tim a few months ago and love it so far. Mines built up with Revs, DT5.1's on Hopes and Thomson stuff. I'm running it as a singlespeed at the moment.

I've played about with the fork quite a bit and found that running it at 115mm with sag to take it to about 90mm is good for me with a decent amount of compression. Flys on singletrack.

Build quality seems good. I've got a Litespeed road bike and whilst the welds aren't in the same league as you would expect its still well put together. Only problem is that the decals are crap and have begun to rub off. I tried to get some replacements but Voodoo in the US have not been much help.

Hope this helps

The frame is well over 4lb, if that bothers you.

There's a few of my mate aidan here. His has RS rev airs, erm, hope ss hubs xt brakes etc. I've alerted him to this thread, so he'll likely post up his opinions. He has wrong (atac) pedals, so despite me riding alongside his Djab a lot, I've never actually ridden it.
