What forks are you running on your Wanga or Bizango?

I know that they're ideally set up at 100mm. And that's what I'm running on mine at the moment. Has anyone gone any bigger than that? And if so, did it upset the handling. Was it worth it for the benefits downhill

I'm just in the process of ignoring the old adage 'if its not broke, don't fix it'

Your opinions and experiences please

hey fella,

got an ezurlie (sp!!) running U turn coil Revalations normally between 115 and 130mm.
It just feels nicer than 100mm that came off it in my humble opinion.

I breifly ran an old GT Zaskar which should have had 80mm forks, I stuck on my 130 vanillas and it felt great!

Hello stranger. Well ... it was a couple of arse-twitching runs down the Blue Pig and that area that have got me thinking bigger fork thoughts.

That and Hora nagging. Why do I listen to him? FFS!

I've got a Bokor and am running Marzocchi MX Pro ETAs - 100mm
I'd also be interested to hear if bigger is better though.

djab, too. 130mm most of the time for me, with occasional forays into 100mm.

It's good at either length, but 130mm is more fun.

Frizzer. Thats exactly what I'm running at the moment. I'm happy with them, but interested in shoving some 140's up front for going hooning down rocky stuff. I'm liking the Calderdale riding at the moment.

Not that I have a voodoo but my current HT (Dialled Love/Hate) recommends an 80 - 100mm travel fork however I run a u-turn Recon fork and mainly ride about 110 / 115 and up it a little if messing around or riding mainly descents, it handles much better than on 100 which just seems too little and the frame wants to be riden like it's got more travel!

Had 130mm Recons on my Voodoo Wanga without issue.
Currently running 120mm Magura Phaon's on it, again without issue.

In fact I actually preferred it with the 130's on it.
