I'm looking at one of these frame only from crc to replace my stumpy evo. Anyone got any experience of one? I've seen the MBR review but that's about it! Particularly interested in the clearance at the back, as the stumpy suffers a bit in the mud with proper tyres on

My mate tested the escarpe 29 pro for IMB magazine (last issue) and loved it. Only fault he could find was it became a bit twitchy on the steepest trails (golfie steep) with its highish bb. Rode all over the Lakes on it.
