Has anyone seen their tire/rim protection tire inserts available to buy?  My searching comes up no useful leads and tried contacting Vittoria with no luck.

Very different from a Huck Norris.

Reason interest in the Air-Liners is they are supposedly available for tyres up to 4”.

Has anyone made their own tyre inserts?

^ this thread started out about Huck Norris but has morphed into a a bit of a getto lines/cushcore thread instead, maybe of use to you? Although don't think I've seen anything appropriate for 4inch tyres.

Fitted one yesterday as a more durable replacement to the Mr wolf bangers I've been using. Similar density to cushcore but it fills most of the tyre so hopefully it'll do the job.

I asked my LBS to get one, they stock Vittoria (fall line cycles in Peebles). Was quoted delivery on the 18th but it arrived on Wednesday.

I've been using them front and rear for about 3 weeks now, including 2 x XC races.

I'm using them inside 2.25 Mezcals at the moment and running them at 16/17psi front, 19/20 rear depending on the course and/or conditions.

So far, they've been fanstastic. The lower pressure means more which grip increases cornering confidence massively however the fact they're pretty firm doesn't mean rolling resistance is compromised too much.
