[#3092447]

So, learned this last week that the nephew and niece have taken up BMX'ing and that they'd be racing today at the newly opened indoor arena, part of the national cycling wotsit up in't northern town of Manchester...
T'was only manners I popped down...
Facilities are rather good and the track(s) are mental - think the tracks I raced as a kid could be made in full from one of the larger jumps you see these days....
5mtr ramp on the left. 8 mtr on the right....!

Not quite a full set, yet... Roadworks for the installation of Trams, Part Deux added 10 mins to the journey today ๐Ÿ˜‰

nbt - cheers - i'll give that a go...
BTW - they do 'taster' sessions' - got to be more than me on STW who fancy that as a 'lads trip out' ๐Ÿ™‚

Not in the 'turn up and ride' sense but - see above - taster sessions are available ๐Ÿ™‚

You're trying to share a link as an image, that won't work.

I'm in for a taster. Can we get two taster sessions back to back then you can do photos for one while I ride, then I'll do them while you ride (assuming I'm not broken by then ๐Ÿ™‚ )

You around on Tuesday night?
Have new grip shifters that I may need assistance installing - I can bring beers ๐Ÿ™‚

assuming I'm not broken by then

There was one ambulance required in the morning 'warm up' sessions and I saw many spills this aft, incl one of the elite guys taken off on a 'spine board' ..... it's not a track to take lightly :0
