bought my electric bike from 50 CYCLES in richmond.
when i bought the bike, i told the salesman my weight, height and what i would be using the bike for.
he told me it would be fine, hence i bought the bike.
the bike weight 50lbs, it came with 24 spoked wheels...........not a ideal match
50lb bike+24 spokes+20 stone man= fail
which the rear one did, pretty quick.
i phoned the shop, put my side over and was expecting not much to be honest.
Jim, the spanner man told me he would build me a new wheel on a 32 alfine hub and send it asap.
he did, and it arrived today, fitted with new sproket, nut and fittings.
he told me to send my damaged one back once the new one was up and running.
fantastic service, and very trusting too.
and 50 CYCLES sell proper bikes too................ 8)
cheers Ton, its good to hear some positive comments about bike shops, I've tried to add my two-pennith-worth about Stif too. I know some bike shops are crap but its always good to find a good one!
