I've got a standard Stans rim strip from an old wheel that I want to fit to a new Flow rim. Does it fit? Any idea why theres a Flow specific rim strip that Stans make?

Flows are wider than the other rims stans make, that's probably the reason for the different rim strip but i have run mine with the standard stans rim strip and it was fine and i have mates who do the same. I now run mine with two layers of the adhesive rim tape instead as i find it easier to get tyres to sit

You can just use the yellow tape instead.

Cheers, I dont have any yellow tape or a spare valve, but I do have a spare rim strip, so I'll try that first.

Use tape, its much lighter and easier to get the tyre on as the rim bed retains its full depth.
