did the glue come unstuck?
Stoney broke?
I have had 3 sets of pace forks (yep I did not lern) strike me that the change of name means same build quality but more polished
Yip deffinatley a bonding issue!
DT Swiss/Pace forks in catastrophic failure - Oh now there's a surprise.
Bit of gaffer tape will fix that.
That will polish out.
Thats rubbish how much do those things cost?
I'm not sold on this carbon lark, I was reading MBR and the dropouts fell out of a Cannondale carbon frame, again the glue came unstuck, I like welds me!
I like welds me!
welds: never known to fail....
🙂
Oxyboy/stoner....
You guys have a point there!
i was being sarcastic...I dont think oxboy was 😉
Yea i know stoner, Oxy does have a fair point though. I got them as a "rolling chassis" Frame , fork and wheels. But on their own these forks are £700!!!!!!
the issue is not with the carbon its with the bonding of one component to another.
Overpriced junk!
I was reading MBR
such a tome of great wisdom to be the basis of evidence for a critique, I'm proud you can read Oxboy
Isn't it the off-camber feature activated by the slope on your driveway?
Never mind the broken forks, I'm confused enough that we have a "stoner" and a "stoney" posting strait after each other. I'm confused.
No confusion. com intended Will, and the pic was taken outside the LBS workshop door.....there is not much camber on the tarmac!
my old rc40 pace forks broke in exactly the same way. I used epoxy resin and faith.
however, I'm now on revamalations which are a)220 quid and b) miles better.
My smallest violin crys for you!
