Going to be in the area during the summer. Are the trails worth it? Mainly all mountain and slight bit of downhill is what we are after. Also, can anyone recommend campsites in both?
Both have some amazing riding. Verbier is quite hard to navigate to the good stuff without local knowledge whereas the 2 marked DH runs in Crans Montana are 2 of the best DH tracks I've ever ridden and very easy to find.
The black DH track at Crans is great, yeah. Careful though, one of our mates cracked a rib on his first day. 🙁
Verbier is amazing for AM riding, if you like it steep. We stayed in a hostel and sniffed out (asked around for) quite a few trails. The day we got a guide was the best though.
The DH trails at Verbier are more technical and tight than most. Challenging but rewarding.
