Me and wife are heading for a few days to Andorra and can do Vallnord whilst there

She is beginner + but not too fast, will she die? (we are on honeymoon so not the best thing, really)

Campsites nearby would be helpful too for our van if any recommendations

Cheers SBH

There are easier trails up in the bike park area but the red down from the bike park back into the town is quite hard.ย  Depending on how she gets on with the green/ blues you might want to consider riding back into Vallnord on the road.

Is there not still a blue that goes back into the town? I only remember the very last little bit being shared with the red.

The only campsite I remember seeing while there was the one at Xixeralla, and it looked quite fancy. Andorra doesn't really seem like a camping-friendly sort of place if I'm honest.

I'd really recommend going to the top of the Port de Cabus (2nd highest road in the Pyrenees I think) on the Spanish border, absolutely stunning up there. It's an long road climb, but you can use the bike park lifts to get 90% of the way up.

There is a new blue on the Commencal trail down to the bottom. It is absolutely fantastic.

The original trail is now walkers only.

The new red is very rocky and intense.

Oops.ย  Sorry, I haven't been there for a few years and didn't know they had built a new blue. That will make it considerably more beginner friendly.
