2.35 UST supertacky- There are cracks around all the knobs, none have fell / got ripped off though. Is this normal? About a year old but hardly used.

I had them same day the shop got them in. I've had lots of much older tryes than those wihout the cracking. Just wondering if its a UST / Supertacky thing or they'm just rubbish.
