Was planning to go and do an uplift day at CwmCarn next weekend, but left it too late and it's now fully booked! Could just wait a couple of weeks and go there anyway, but is there anywhere else within 2-3 hours of South Bucks that I could look at?
Triscombe; much better than Cwm Carn. You book via their Facebook page (Triscombe Uplifts) although they only run if they get enough people. There's also the Forest Of Dean.
FOD is much better than Cwmcarn anyway, the hill is smaller but there's lots of tracks to ride not just one!
There are loads of tracks at cwmcarn too *ssssh*
Where is Triscombe? Is it all DH ?
fod isn't worth the uplift as much, as its a short course
ukbike park is the same, fun to ride, uplift, but an easier walk too.
what are the rheola folk doing that weekend?
Rheola doesn't seem to be running that weekend. Quite tempted by Triscombe after looking online although it's a little further from me than CwmCarn
