Ok. my boss bought a genius ultimate or whatever they are called about 7 years ago. Its running 2x xtr.
hes seen the eagle on my bike and now things that he needs this to get up a hill. Whats the way of finding out what the max rear cassette size he can get away with is?

Eagle only comes with a 50t largest sprocket? If it’s the mech capacity you are talking about, he’ll have to buy an eagle mech anyway, because 12 speed. Don’t think he’ll be able to keep 2x though.
Or is he just wanting a bigger (I assume 10 speed?) cassette for what he has?
