Just came across this. Integral crabon seatpost, not sure I'd fancy that.

Not sure I'd fancy an integrated crab on the seat post either. Wouldn't want it snapping at my arse on a particularly technical downhill bit ๐Ÿ™‚

Can you not normally cut down an integrated post then fit a standard clamp and post? I've seen that done but don't know if it's normal or mental. I guess you'd need to be careful cutting the crab up.

I'd happily have an integrated seatpost. I keep looking at the eBay 29er carbons, but for some reason the integrated ones have short TT compared to the normal version

I have 4 integrated seatposts, Yeti ASR-C, 2 Pronghorn PR6-HTs and a Scott Plasma. I love it. No faffing at all. Seat is always at my height, they are shaped so always lined up bang on and of course a little lighter. (added sneaky bonus, I never have to lend my bike to anyone!)
My road bike has a seized seatpost so is as good as. How often do people adjust their seats once it's set anyway?
I do have a dropper on the big bike, and love it, but for XC bikes (and the TT bike) I just set it up and then leave it.
Anyway, you should not let an ISP put you off, they are great.
