Had a looked his IG last night, some lovely looking stuff on there, including neo-retro Accutrax forks!

Seems to me that the obvious way to get away from that is to stop lying. But that would be bad for business. And by business I mean revenue.

Every time I see that bike posted up there (Gnarcissist??), it looks very wrong. I'm not a bike builder, but the geometry of it seems designed to make it fold where the top tube joins the seat tube...
I’m starting to wonder if this scheme isn’t coming out of Nigeria and somehow related to a Prince requiring funds so he can release some bent bits of metal that are currently held in customs..

@ran_shot_first I frankly think this is just getting ludicrous now. Even in my livestream yesterday I mentioned the questions Hannah wanted me to answer. If I felt things were in good faith I would be more comfortable answering them. We have had a phone call, I thought that was the interview, that’s why my name is mentioned several times. I certainly didn’t accuse anyone of lying. And honestly this is exactly the thing I was trying to get away from. Spending all day going backwards and forwards, when the outcome will be me getting called a liar or whatever. It’s hardly productive

Meaning: Unless you ask powder puff questions and I get to promote my site and get more preorders to keep my pyramid scheme from collapsing, I won’t answer.

Meaning: I don’t like being exposed as a fraud like this, particularly when I need some more preorders to prevent the pyramid scheme collapsing.
Just as an aside, why would stock levels not being zeroed or indeed being zero have any influence on preorders for frames that haven’t been built yet? Not built yet = can’t be in stock. I’d love to see these clowns trying to produce a set of accounts!
And FWIW, whatever the level of incompetence or deceit that got us to this point, they cannot be unaware that they are now just acting dishonestly.
Personally I doubt there is a snowball’s chance in hell that all orders are going to be honoured and all refunds given.

The "stock" is just a qty manually assigned to the item (obviously there should be some logic behind it), it won't be a fully automated amazon warehouse style operation, it'll be done by hand.
So for example if they knew the next batch would be 50 frames they'd allocate 50 stock to the pre-order, the system will be set up to refuse orders for which there is zero stock so would prevent people being able to order frames that won't get produced as part of the batch.
The stock system has no concept of whether the item is a preorder frame, physical stock of a frame or a t shirt, they're just text descriptors.
Of course in the particular case the system appears to have been given 10^z stock so that doesn't hold.

My favourite comment on that Instagram post is from ser_trauma_charlie who seems to have been recently thawed out after being cryogenically frozen in 1979.
It's staggering that they keep rolling out "we got bigger quicker" and " it got out of control" but never really apologise. The seem to think that appealing to the raging sycophants on IG is a better business idea than sorting out the customers who are actually waiting for frames.
If the ****less ****s actually had my frames Id still have them, I'd peel the stickers off and cover the head badge but i'd still use it. Unfortunately they would rather piss me off and lie to me.
Lets see how long it is before they delete my latest comment on the latest IG post 🙂

They werent asked in good faith (which considering how Hannah clearly tried to be balanced is more than a tad unfair. It isnt her fault that the evidence is overwhelming stacked against them).
In one of their older videos they show how they use an app to up the following. It's just targeted automated posting and commenting to increase visibility. Most of those services have been shut down now but I guess there are still some around.
Doesn't explain why the people who defend them drank quite so much of the coolaid though. I'd say the sick insta is also used by all of the "directors" (lol) which is why the responses can come across quite so disjointed/schizophrenic.
Vital MTB put a post on their youtube channel showing a bike check of a Sick Bicycle Co. Wulfbarron with pinion gearbox, not much love for Sick in the comments though!
The only place you find generally positive vibes for Sick is their own insta feed.

Still there for me too. Seems Cranked mag have liked the post. Be interesting to hear their thoughts on the whole saga, think they were one of the first mags to run an interview.
