Just changing the shifter cables on a bike, and trying to talk to the kids at the same time- just snipped the brake cable instead of the shifter one- brake fluid over the kitchen floor etc etc. 🙄

Blame the kids. Stop their pocket money to pay for it and make them clear up the fluid!!

better than the bloke who'd been carefully measured how long his new steerer tube shoudl be, got distracted by the kids and measured from the top of the steerer down to make a mark to cut to rather than the crown race up.
he ended up with about 130mm of usable steerer 🙁

First may I congratulate you on working on ya bike in the kitchen, fun control you NEVER let me do that... And as for the kids, they should know when daddy's working on his bike they stay clear!!! You could use this as a good reason to buy new breaks!!!! 😀
