No debating here please, just say "IN" if you're racing (and getting insurance) and "OUT" if you're not (but wanted to do at least one event in 2015).
Please don't reply if you had no intention of racing anyway.

I'll kick things off - OUT.

Can't be bothered to take racing that seriously.

(But was already out due to the full face helmet rule).
Out,(in with full face). Others in our club feel the same
In.
Hoping that the full-face rule and now insurance will give Parr et al the confidence to build some really steep and technical stages into their races, can't wait!
Out.
Will look elsewhere.

Could that not alienate more riders and create an "elitist" series? Not exactly within the "spirit" of enduro.....
out

OUT. Planned to do the scottish round but no chance now
(but in perspective- I've only done one round previously so it's no great loss to them 😉 )Did the Scottish series and the EWS instead, and some standalones, will do so again and maybe the Welsh Multi Day Whotsit

Out - full face, insurance and cost put me off. Did Ae last year. Thought it was pretty tame.
We have a great scottish series and the PMBA events are also fun.
out - too expensive
Could that not alienate more riders and create an "elitist" series? Not exactly within the "spirit" of enduro...
They are competitive events and Parr wants his series to be seen as the National series not just local or regional, he is also holding what he hopes to be the inaugural UK Championship for Enduro this year.
He said in the Pinkbike interview that he wants to see a pyramid structure for Enduro in this country where riders start in local races, progress to regional series, then onto the UKGE National series and then on to the Enduro World Series...it makes sense to me anyway....if the courses are too technical step back and race locally or regionally until you can compete nationally.
I wouldnt enter a British DH race, i dont have the bike for a start and given that most of the top 10 - 20 riders in the UK are also regulars in the top-10 DH World Cups i'd get slaughtered, the courses are way beyond me too...Llangollen for example!....bugger that...
...but rather than moan that its not 'accessible' enough for newbies like me i just race locally or do low key stuff like the Forest of Dean mini-DH.
This whole "Enduro is supposed to be a ride around the woods with mates" attitude is cool but it is also a timed race so some people will take it seriously an want a tiered system for them t progress on....the UKGE races in 2011 i did were brilliant, exactly like a lot of people hoped...fun, laugh, all skill levels...but that was 4 years ago and people like Dan Atherton etc are now racing the series, as the organiser Parr has to challenge these top riders.
