Can you come up with better than this bad boy
I quite like that.
Ohhhh niiiiice, me likeeeee too.
^^^ The green monstrosity has the same semi-retru forks as me ๐ณ
^^^^^^ My trance x 29 arrives tomorrow, just hoping it rides better than it looks!!
I'm sure it will do, I'm a bit of a Giant fanboy usually owning 3 & love how they all ride, just really don't like the look of a lot of the newest mtb's they're doing.
I saw the newer giants for first time in the flesh and I thought they looked pretty nice
Took me a while to spot the bike in that photo.
Don't mind the OP's bike, although the forks are backwards. Just can't handle the marketing crap:
Swedish product designer Eric Oscar Therner did what the city lifestyle neededโ an elegant bike design, which refreshes the contemporary biking visuals and in the same time makes the biker standing out from the everyday environment, while enjoying a comfort ride.
What Klein photo?
haha, nothing will ever look worse than this
is that curved bit meant to be the rear suspension? 'cos it looks bouncy!
also, i never ever want to see another "concept" bike. any idiot can design ugly, it takes something special to fill the world with thousands of them. can we only do production stuff please? did this thing go into production?
You don't look at the mantlepiece when your poking the fire do you!
If it rides well then who cares what it looks like.
(not strictly true but it excuses some "choice" frame designs)
I line the op's nine TBH
Lol at the wicked weasel page!
That Jones bike wins hands down
Clubber, am I being dumb or are your forks on the wrong way?
Of course I would never have noticed on the other Klein pic....
They're Pace forks which have a reverse arch. So, no ๐
Blurb from the OP:
Swedish product designer Eric Oscar Therner did what the city lifestyle neededโ an elegant bike design, which refreshes the contemporary biking visuals and in the same time makes the biker standing out from the everyday environment, while enjoying a comfort ride. The concept is entirely inspired from the 1930โs Le Mans racers with an idea to spice it up with materials and technologies from the future. Thus way the bike is equipped with unique features such as led lights integrated into the frame and a two part saddle which absorbs shock. What really impress me in the Pilen Concept are the fine curves, the way all parts hold together in a solid, but still elegant construction giving an impression of power, comfort and safety.
DrP translation:
A man made a different looking bike, but it can still be ridden...
DrP
There's a chap on here who has one of those old Trek DH bikes. As far as I'm concerned it wins these threads every time.

Mine rides really nicely, Only thing i did was lop 40mm off the handlebars, but that's a personal thing.

giving an impression of power, comfort and safety.
yeah. 'cos an impression is all ur gonna get :p
i think calling the Jones bike ugly is unfair. all fatbikes look odd, because we're used to skinny tyres. the fork is odd, but for a reason. nothing that works well is every really ugly imho.
I was going to post my bike on here because its quite ugly. But compared to some of the bikes here its a stunner.
Is it a Whyte?
No Spech Enduro.
^ i think you accidentally the picture.
Ah, there she is.
Hands up who has actually ridden one of those Whyte beasts... *puts up hand*
This is pretty cool in lots of ways, but pretty it ain't: The Cardboard Bike.
How about this... there's something ugly about it, hmmm...
