Evening, any one suggest a two day loop/route in the peaks.

Ideally something North Peaks as we're Huddersfield based but not essential.

I've never done it , and I have no idea of your riding level but the Mary Townley loop looks like a good place to start, maybe?

Holm firth, largest, cut gate to lady bower - kip at north end reservoir.
Return over towards snake and docs gate to glossop then longdendale trail?
Cheekier stuff around dove stones/chew?

The Mary townley loop can be done in a day (a long day) but it does pass a lot of places to camp and a few campsites.

I would look at the dales with a overnight stay in a cave.

Thanks all.

Like the sound of boxelder's loop as a can ride straight from my door and

Will definitely do the Mary Townley loop in the next few weeks though (will try and do in a day).

Any other suggestions?

I'm considering doing this route as a Bivvy trip later this year. Lots of other routes on the Yorkshire Dales NP site too...
