Does anyone have the tweed/inners XC type route that was in Singletrack a couple of years ago? Looked quite wild as I recall. Also any other out-and-about routes in the valley.

It was probably Gypsy Glen.
Have a look on Strava - there are hundreds of routes in the valley.

Also search for the Natural Tweed route from 2014

Gypsy glen there and the broad/dollar law route is good too, though it needs to have been dry for a bit.
