looking to get a turbo trainer and will be using it on a 26" MTB.....what tyre are people using on rear wheels when using a MTB?? its a spare wheel so no dramas changing tyres etc for real life riding.

I briefly had a Conti turbo tyre on it but tbh it didn't seem any better or worse than any other slick so now it's just got an old worn out marathon on it, which does the same job for free.

i was thinking i might just try a worn tyre so that has confirmed the idea for me cheers

The cheapest slicks I could find (less than a tenner for the pair!) seem to be doing a very good job on mine.
