Did the Dorset Dirt Yesterday - but had 2 puntures - Kenda Nevegal front and Maxxis Larsen TT Rear - I think 2 flint slashes - Front sidewall reat through treat - Fixed the rear with tubless repair kit easily but front neede a tube ๐Ÿ™

Would I be better off with a UST instead of the Nevegal as thats the second side wall slash I have had in 3 months?

Hmn, I've been using Continental Supersonics tubeless, which have really thin sidewalls and they've never been slashed.

Have you ever slashed the sidewalls when running thubed though? Is it a symptom of running the pressures too low? Was the just a bad day on bad terrain?

Prob just bad luck but was on flint tracks ๐Ÿ™ No I have never slashed my sidewalls with a tube but I was running the tyres at 40psi so would have thought that was enough but - maybe on that terrain 50psi would have been better as my mate was using the same tyres at 50psi and he was fine thoughtout the ride ? However above 40psi maybe not good with tubless with std tyres?
