Damo - a friend if mine, is as I type, in Evans buying a spanking new set of Mavic Cross Max STs. Consequently he will have a still very decent set of wheels to sell on.
They will either be Mavic 819 on DT Swiss Competition db spokes with Hope Pro 2 hubs or the same spec but on Flow rims.
I think he'll end up selling the Mavics as the flows are actually on DT Swiss Super Comp spokes, which are triple butted and therefore a bit more special.
Not sure how much he'll want for them, but it will be reasonable and I can vouch for the fact that he looks after his kit and is a good rider.
If you're interested post here and I will show him the thread this evening.
Stans ZTR Crest Hope Hoops would fit that description.
I went for ZTR Arch on Hope hubs for a little extra strength for XC, trail centres, rocky natural trails etc
