Fixed a big hole in the tread the otherday with the trail tubeless kit (outside) - fixed it perfectly:

My question is do you need to fix it inside with the "off trail" kit (inside) or can I leave it as it is? Seems to hold fine the last 2 weeks?

they do weem to last a very long time. I tend to trim mine down a bit and leave them in there.
If I have to take a tyre off for another reason I take the plug out and put a patch inside the tyre.

Cool - yup done that - trimmed it down to the level of the top of the tread so I'll leave it - I expect at this rate the tyre will wear out before the repair 🙂
