Just building up a Krampus and in need of some wheels for it.

Is a 25.5mm internal rim width too narrow for a 3 inch tyre? I see travers tested it but I have read conflicting opinions on the Internet.

Any recommendations on what to look at that's easily available?

Dunno about the 25.5 rims, sounds narrow to me.

Stans Hugo, Rabbit Holes or Duallys are widely available
Rabbit Holes can be set up tubeless I believe.

I'm really only posting on here as an excuse to show my newly fattened Karate Monkey front end ๐Ÿ˜€

(waiting for some bits before I can fit a 2.4 chunky monkey on the back one)

My Knard runs ghetto tubeless on a Dually.
A 25mm rim is too narrow.
I think the Dually has been replaced by the Scraper now.

Any excuse....

I've got a Knard on a Flow with no issues.

I have just built Krampus, running maxxis chronicles on blunt 35 rims. They went up tubeless with track pump no problem.

Thanks for the info.

Found some 30mm inner run width rins that may do a better job.
