Ridden about 150 miles on this shock and it seems to be splurging quite a lot of oil over the shaft. Should I be worried? Take a butchers...

Yup looks pretty normal to me, as long as it stops fairly soon.

It has been leaking a tiny bit since I got it, but today there seems a bit more than usual. I'll give it a wipe off and keep an eye on it, I guess.

Air can service wouldn't hurt if you're concerned. Maybe some dirt under the seal. But it looks okay. It's just can lube, not damping oil.
