Does anyone know what diameter tube fits on the bleed screw to bleed Hopes? I ask as I'm trying to get some from ebay (no LBS)and the last lot I got just falls off.

Cheers

dunno but its a load bigger than the stuff you need for shimano brakes, I've just got some tubeing from an aquarium shop for the shimano's - cheap as chips..

I used an Hayes bleed kit hose - they fit a treat - then drilled out a hole in an old vitamin pot with a soft flip cap on it, tied some string around the top so I can hang it from the bottom of the caliper and hey presto. Sorry dont know the diam though!

it's in the rope/ chain / string department, if you find that you should find the tubing there on a drum with a useless device to trim it to size.

Windscreen washer tubing works well

Also silicone fuel tubing from a model shop if you have one nearby, also useful for pressure bleeding with a syringe as it's flexible enough to allow hand movement without popping off and squirting fluid everywhere.

Depends which brakes you have, the bleed nipple on the new tech calipers is smaller than they used to use.

You don't really need tubing if you're stuck
Just make sure you remove the wheel & pads before you start & give everything a good clean when finished [I do that anyway]
