Does anyone know the real user difference in the TRP Dh evo to the Trail evo brakes
They will be going on an EBike so dealing with extra weight and speed and lots of steep trails so hopefully the lever feel will keep its reliability unlike the Shimanos I’m using the now

DH evo are very hard to come by and making me look towards the Trail as a sub
Cheers

Hybrid ceramic pistons in the DH-R vs steel pistons in the Trail appears to be the most significant difference.

No idea, but if my experience of the road ones is anything to go by, moving from Shimano to TRP is indeed a good move for reliability

Just be aware that you'll need 2.3mm thick rotors for the EVO models. (FWIW: I really like my TRP Quadiems, but they're not EVO versions)

I think the 2mm magura rotors might do me ok as only .3mm difference
Are the Quandiem the older style evo brakes?

I don't claim to know the detail, but the levers look very similar (on the outside) to the DH-R EVO. The callipers look completely different.
