I've just been informed by a colleague about a bike stolen in urmston, Manchester overnight. The bike belonged to another keen cyclist colleague who was killed in a motorcycle accident almost exactly a year ago today. The bike has special sentimental value as his wife had intended to pass the bike onto their son when he is big enough to ride it. Understandably they are both devastated.
It's obviously a Trek and I am told it had 105 finishing kit on it but can anyone identify it from this photo?

Happy to identify it
I think it is a 2010 Trek 1.5 model. Aluminium frame, carbon fork.
Looks pretty bang on that Colin.
I've just emailed you with all I know at the moment.
Thanks
Bump for the evening crowd.
Update on the spec.
2010 Trek 1.5 alpha, full shimano 105 gears and brakes, ally bontrager rims, white bontrager saddle, white (ish) bar tape, rapid fire shifters on bars, and spd pedals.
Please all keep your eyes peeled. I'm local and will be keeping my eye out.
Email in profile.
What part of Manchester was/is it?
Urmston
