[#1032004]

Ive used a mates large and it was a bit long with 100mm mav stem, the medium was a bit short but only ridden once or twice and was ages ago. im 5 10 what are most folk that height riding?

so smallerer with layback post or bigger and 70/80mm stem? gut is to go smaller, more fun possibly

5' 11" + a bit, riding a medium + it fits like a glove. TBH its not like you're sitting down allot, this jallopy loves to be hammered + anything too big would lose that chuckable singletrack magic. One of the best cornering bikes ever IMHO.

I'd have thought a medium, like you say, more fun. The original brown one comes with a shoter stem on the medium as well.

is that Dave?

it is Dave yeah! Badger rather than Chops but a Dave nontheless, hope you're doing well

i didnt get a chance to ride spaz' when he was in madrid but i think probably medium is the way to go (annoyingly guy selling a frame and rear wheel has a large)

cheers everyone, confirmed what i feared, need to find a med frame only or someone who wants some 29er mavericks and a front wheel

Cool, when i lobbed it in a skip one morning he wasn't happy!

I rode a medium and i'm 5'8, top tube was spot on but would have liked more stand over. I've sold mine on but it was completly battered this year.
My old maverick one DaveElls (i think thats his user name) bought from me was selling a while ago bought a Jones

EDIT: so shaggy you're saying we need to engrave his bike...
