I know this is for a road bike but....
I'm rebuilding a friends 4 year old Trek 1.2 road bike after it got a bit squashed by a car (he's ok now and the frame's ok).
While the bike is now back on the road I was disappointed to find the wrong mech hanger I had instructed him to buy was wrong (I managed to bend the old one back enough for now). It seemed this was the correct hanger:

However, when I tried to fit it there was a couple of very minor differences :/
On closer inspection the hanger looks like this (even though it's meant to be for Kona's):

Can anyone shed any light on this one?? What hanger does this bike use??
Go to a Trek dealer with your old hanger , getting the right one can be a real nightmare .
That was my preferred option.
Or do a search online for that model and year, and see if anywhere else online stocks it - I wouldn't buy a hanger unless it specifically said it was for that model.
