[#1205219]

Just been looking at the Covert in the Singletrack issue and in the latest WMB. Who stocks them in this country? The WMB build is interesting and comes in at a pretty reasonable price/weight... could be just what I am looking for!

I wondered about this then I got bored of searching and bought something else. I really liked the look of the covert too.

Try my LBS, Two Wheels in Stourbridge, West Mids. They've ordered one or two in the past. 01384 394653. www.twowheelscycles.com

Hmmm, shall have to pop into Bothy Bikes next time I am passing that way.

Would be nice to be able to see and preferably try one before deciding to spend, that's the only problem with a lot of the dealers that can get them!

Chris... mainly cos it's Sunday 😉

But I may give them a call nearer the time that I am looking to buy, just trying to shortlist some bikes at the moment, read the article last night and thought it was probably worth adding onto said list. Would be nice if there were somewhere I was likely to pass in the next few weeks that had one in stock though!

Got a trailorpark a couple of years ago - at the time the only UK agent was in Leeds (Project Leeds / Ride-Central)

I won't slag them off on a public forum (and there's not enough room!!) - but I won't be using them again. Ever.

ah was elbry doing transition prior to surfsales? i thought it was project leeds? still, either way i'd heard of issues with both supply and aftersales, hopefully that's long gone as i know transition have a great rep for their US customer service...

Just looked up Ride Central on google - now in Darlington and no results pointing to Leeds. New shop / new staff ? Who knows. Hope so though. Would hate for others to go through the shite I had to....

I'd like a go on of them Bottlerockets.

Such a fun-looking bike.

Latest issue of Dirt has Bothy Bikes in Aviemore advertising as having Transition available Jan 2010 or why not just email Transition direct - uk@transitionbikes.com if you have questions. Sam Burkhardt - very helpful.

It seems that the Covert is selling for £1300 odd in the UK. I reckon this a pretty ****ing good in comparison to some but still a bit rich for me.
Direct competition for the Alpine 160 though.
Gorgeous bike, I would love one.
